The aim of the excursions is to expand the knowledge of the listeners acquired during lectures and seminars and to verify with practical examples how education takes place at historical objects, in museums and galleries, in memorials and in other memory institutions. The excursion itself takes place in three stages.
In the first, preparatory, phase, students are introduced to the excursion program. They work with professional literature and practically apply the knowledge and skills acquired in individual study courses when preparing their professional presentation.
During the excursion, they watch the presentation and educational work on the visited objects, professional papers of their colleagues and present their own contribution. In the third phase, in the form of a discussion, they evaluate the quality of the presentation and interpretation of the cultural heritage at the visited objects and suggest possible improvements.
In the same way, there is an evaluation of all the contributions heard, both by the students and also by the teachers present.
