Annotation
The course aims to deepen the students’ preparedness for self-reliant lesson management including planning and follow-up evaluation. In continuation of the preceding subject Didactics of the French Language II the student perfects his/her skills by means of analysing real teaching situations, suggesting alternative solutions, and elaborating appropriate methodological material.
The student is able to react adequately to various educational contexts of FLE instruction, counting the inclusion of game and drama elements or alternative pedagogical techniques for diverse audiences. Simultaneously, attention is paid to the introduction to research conduction in the field of foreign language teaching: the student is capable of propounding, implementing, and evaluating his/her own research project. - Methodology of research in the field of didactics of foreign languages: the research project, qualitative and quantitative research; plurilingualism and interculturality (in-depth); speech skills and linguistic means (in-depth, based on the experience from the continuous practice at lower secondary school); game and drama elements in foreign language teaching; alternative pedagogical trends and language teaching; young adult literature and FLE.
