Syllabus
Během semináře bude věnována pozornost těmto zásadám bádání a psaní odborného textu:
1.Výběr tématu a oboru diplomové práce, vhodnost a originalita tématu a zároveň jeho realizovatelnost co do možností a schopností diplomanta. Výběr vedoucího práce.
2. Vyhledávání zdrojů různými způsoby, zásady výběru a hodnocení pramenů (odborné rešerše), stanovení metodologie výzkumu, výběr jazyka DP (FJ nebo ČJ).
3. Promýšlení struktury práce a předběžná osnova, rozdělení do kapitol podle shromážděných zdrojů a odborné literatury, provázanost jednotlivých částí, případné upřesnění tématu a náplně práce.
4. Postupy během samotné redakce práce - definitivní struktura práce, úvod a závěr, návaznost kapitol a podkapitol, způsob citací a poznámek pod čarou. Nácvik odborného stylu.
5. Přehledný seznam bibliografie neboli seznam odborné literatury a jeho rozčlenění podle typu prací a zdrojů, případné "Přílohy", jejich vhodnost a podoba.
6. Konečná redakce a podoba diplomové práce - závěrečné korektury textu, jejich pravidla. Osvojením těchto zásad odborné badatelské práce je student veden k vlastnímu zpracování tématu a formulaci závěrů, k nimž na základě samostatného studia pramenů a jejich interpretace došel.
Annotation
This seminar is the logical extension of the Seminar on Preparing the Bachelor's Thesis: it deepens the principles and practices of research and writing a professional text that students assimilated at the end of the previous cycle. The rules of general methodology are addressed in a similar logical order deriving from the nature of scientific-artistic work, but with an emphasis on their epistemological context, validity and legitimacy, as well as on issues of difference between the 'evidence-based' scientific field and the humanities field based on an interpretive-hermeneutic approach.
The seminar does not replace the student's regular consultations with the Master's dissertation supervisor, but it is useful in two respects: it helps to improve mastery of the technical bases of research (in the sense of 'techné', which is specific to 'craft' work) and provides a better understanding of the principles underlying one of the key concepts of European civilisation, that of 'scientificity'.
