The aim of the course is to develop the knowledge base of subject didactics, ie knowledge of the system of basic didactic knowledge and the ability of orientation in the complex issues of content and the process of teaching and learning students. Based on the knowledge of goal setting, communication competencies, planning, students will get acquainted with the basic principles of speech skills development, both in theory and in practice.
After completing the course, students are able to choose appropriate and adequate procedures in terms of different composition of the target group of students in order to implement an individual and differentiated approach. Students will also get acquainted with the typology of errors and the possibilities of their analysis and correction.
Samples of video recordings (also from students 'practice) and their reflections support students' development of the ability to see specific aspects of teaching, problematic situations, but also to ask questions and critically analyze and evaluate their own and other people's experiences. Subsequent micro-outputs of students, including their self-assessment and evaluation, support the development of the ability to set goals, plan, implement and evaluate their own teaching and the teaching of others.
The content of the course includes topics: Development of speech skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, speaking and writing. Types of texts and work with text in a German language class.
