Annotation
The aim of the course is to gain a good orientation in the specific field of German literature, which is part of the cultural history of our country. To understand German-Austrian-Czech cultural and literary relations as part of the common history of Central Europe.
The content of the lecture will focus on Prague German literature and German written literature in the Czech lands, their special features and traditions, mutual influence of Czech and German culture. The situation in the second half of the 19th century.
