Annotation

The master degree in psychology at the Faculty of Education is based on the compatibility of the graduate education with the European requirements (EDP) and its international openness to the mobility of students within the EU, but also to apply for recognition in these countries. Great emphasis is placed on internships in practice facilities. Therefore, the study plan of the follow-up study program gives a large space to internships at specialized workplaces, some of the internships are performed by the student in the framework of compulsory courses, others in the compulsory elective. During the two years of study the student should acquire several types of internships, totaling 764 hours (28 credits).

The general aim of the internship is to link theory and practice, application of theoretical knowledge to the development of professional skills. Students will be acquainted with the environment of counseling and clinical facilities, legislation and standard activities of the given facility, professional problems that the workplace helps to solve, particular areas of counseling / clinical activities of the given workplace (diagnostics, screening, intervention, therapy). and its protection.

This compulsory elective course focuses on the issue of the profession of clinical psychologist, internships will take place in certified clinical facilities, both state and non-state, according to the relevant legislation in health care.
