V rámci specializovaných stáží se student může zaměřit na pracoviště, kde jde o:
1. hlubší profilaci na specifickou klientelu (např. žáci se zdravotním postižením, klienti s poruchami chování, jedinci s poruchou autistického, azylanti aj.),
2. zaměření na konkrétní psychologické postupy (specializované činnosti v diagnostice či intervence, screening, skupinové formy práce se třídou aj.),
3. nadstandardní činnosti pracoviště či činnosti, které nejsou hlavní doménou pracoviště (např. vedení skupin, arteterapie v ŠPZ),
4. činnosti, které obvykle nespadají do encyklopedických poradenských stáží (např. diagnostika v profesním poradenství, diagnostika školní zralosti, diagnostika autismu, rodinná terapie).
Internships in counseling services are organized according to the EDP (European Diploma in Psychology) requirements, the fulfillment and implementation of which will enable students to complete internships or part of their studies in EU countries, respectively apply for recognition of the diploma in them. The general goal of the internship is to connect theory and practice, to apply theoretical knowledge to the development of professional skills.
Specialized internships take place in counseling service facilities in education, in the field of social work, in non-profit organizations. It is a condition that a psychologist works in the facility.
In contrast to encyclopedic internships, it is aimed at the more specialized professional activities of a psychologist. The subject is optional for students - it is usually chosen by those who would like to devote themselves to counseling psychology in the future in the broadest context (in education, in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in non-profit organizations, in the private sector.
