Annotation

This course is for students who are, or who will very soon be, writing their final projects. The aim of this course is to develop all-important and frequently-neglected writing and evaluation skills - necessary skills that will help the students write effectively not just for a university audience but for the wider world as well, e.g., in the work place. Important consideration will be given to analyzing examples of writing, editing decisions, tone, stylistic choices, organizing and connecting ideas, avoiding plagiarism, and using and documenting sources. The course will culminate in a final short research paper.
