The aim of the course is to present the basic piecesof knowledge connected with stylistics and to introdukceits subject and methods, the definition of style,the definition of text. Students learn special terminologyconnected with macrostylistics and microstylistics.The content of the course: Definition of functional styles and their text types, concentration on fictiontext types, algorithm of literary-stylistic analysisof these texts according to topical, compositionaland linguistic components of the work.
