Syllabus

1. Basic social demographic data, social pathological phenomena, looking at current and future trends in the population.

2. Pediatric development, development stages and children?s needs, requirements and children?s rights.

3. Documentation that guarantee healthy pediatric development.

4. Family, substitute family care, family therapy.

5. Endangered and affected groups of children and ways of resolving occurring problems (interdisciplinary work)

Annotation

The course is based on development and contemporary conception of social medicine. It deals with social democratic information, social pathological phenomena from the perspective of their incidence and expected trends within population, documents on healthy development of children (Convention on the Rights of the Child, Declaration on Survival, Protection and Development of Child), threat of different groups of children and possible solutions to problems (interdisciplinary care).
