Annotation

The content and aim of the subject is not only familiarization with basic terminology from the field of dietetics, but also an explanation of macronutrients

(carbohydrates, proteins, lipids) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals, water). Students are introduced to the general looking at a rational diet, basic diagnostic methods used in dietetics and nutrition advice, rules and recommendations.

The subject is focused on theoretical knowledge and practical skills in nutrition and expands competence in the field of nutrition counseling for specific population groups.
