Lecture topics:1. Molecular genetics and its development. Genetic information.2. Molecular foundations. Genetic polymorphism.3. External influences and genetics. Anthropogenetics.4. Genetics and nutrition. Genetics and sport.5. Genetic diseases.6. Prenatal diagnosis. Postnatal diagnosis.7. Papers.
The lectures deal with the issue of genetics and the description of general patterns characterizing heredity and variability. The general biological processes discussed in anatomy, biochemistry and physiology are followed by knowledge from molecular genetics, oncogenetics, with regard to ecological influences. The importance of genetic load is documented on examples of genes and traits, hereditary diseases and defects, including in relation to physical activity.
The course is focused on acquiring theoretical knowledge in the field of human anatomy and physiology and their application to areas of genetics.
