The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the principles of diagnostics and diagnostic tools used in the medical sciences. Students will be introduced to clinical and laboratory tests - spiroergometry, polysomnography, selected sensory organ examinations, ECG, imaging techniques, patient reported outcomes, as well as new trends in diagnostic procedures using wearable electronics, advanced sensors and artificial intelligence (objective assessment of physical activity using accelerometers, ecological momentary assessment, ballistography, digital outcomes, etc.).
