The aim of the course is to acquaint students with structural and functional pathology. Attention is paid to disorders at the cellular, tissue and organ levels. Basic review of pathological anatomy related to orthopedic and general medicine from theoretical developmental, and phenomenological perspectives. Study of the fundamental principles of pathology and clinical medicine and their relation to physical therapy.
An emphasis is placed on parts of pathological anatomy related to cardiopulmonary diseases, rheumatological, neurological diseases and infectious diseases.
