The main objectives of this course are to give students some overview about the research methods used by empirical researchers, as well as to expose them to statistical packages used in research. This course covers research methods used in physiotherapy and physical medicine (and, to some extent, related disciplines).
Research design, data collection, analysis, measurement and design validity, and report writing will all be covered. Students also will exercise searching in bibliographic databases.
