Annotation
The course introduces the basic ways of ethical thinking and the issues of the helping professions. It introduces selected concepts of fundamental ethics (good, evil, conscience, ethos, etc.), the relationship between ethics and law, and the application of deontology and arethology to the helping professions.
Furthermore, it focuses on the issue of ethical codes in general and in application to the profession of orthotics and/or prosthetics, as well as on the solution of some model situations that occur in practice.
