Annotation

The aim of the course is to introduce students to movement programs in water performed mainly in an upright position in shallow or deep water. An aerobic program of aqua-aerobics, water running, high-intensity interval training, strength training with specialized equipment (e.g. dumbbells, gloves, cuffs, swimming tube) and a stretching and relaxation program (e.g. aqua-yoga, Ai Chi) will be presented.

Based on the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to create different exercise units of different forms of aqua-aerobics. Students will know the basic and specific forms of aqua-aerobics, the basic nomenclature and breakdown of the training unit, they will master the basic elements of aqua-aerobics and their modifications.

Students will acquire a wide range of exercises from which they will create simple exercise sets (choreography) and at the same time develop basic habits for regular physical activity.
