Annotation

The topic of self-defense is included in the educational program (RVP) for the second level of elementary schools and some types of secondary schools. Due to this fact, the subject is focused on the possibilities of teaching self-defense in physical education classes. In theoretical lessons, the main topics covered are violence prevention, both physical and psychological. In practical lessons, the subject matter is discussed from a behavioral perspective and includes guidance on how to handle situations where physical conflicts occur.

Students are introduced to psychology, tactics, and some technical recommendations that arise from the topic.

The practical part of the subject is mainly taught through contact exercises in pairs.
