Topics of instruction:

Introduction to preparatory falls, forward falling techniques, paired preparatory falls, basic wrestling holds, strikes and kicks, paired preparatory falls, group ground games, backward falling techniques, additional strikes and kicks, ground games, combinations of falling techniques, combinations of strikes and kicks.

Fundamental ground wrestling techniques, combinations of strikes and kicks, basic defensive techniques, basic principles of Judo - walking, grips, basics of Judo - throws, ground control, group ground games, advanced combinations of strikes and kicks, basics of Judo - additional throws, holds, and escapes, basics of Judo - additional throws, holds, and joint locks, combinations.

Judo - technique drilling, sparring, Karate - technique combinations, sparring, alternative no-gi techniques - grappling, basic techniques.

Alternative no-gi techniques - grappling, sparring, repetition, drilling, preparation for assessment.

Annotation

This subject emphasizes acquiring basic theoretical knowledge about the systematics of combat sports and fundamental practical skills from various combat sports, primarily judo and karate. The subject explains and advocates the importance of incorporating combat contact exercises into physical activity.

The content of the subject serves as a foundational movement basis for physical education teachers and coaches within their competencies. The subject matter also extends into everyday civilian life, particularly in the area of falling techniques.
