Annotation
This course will engage with poetry that is either directly or indirectly on religious themes. It will focus mainly on
English literature, and will examine how the use of poetry is a way of dealing with the breakdown of language when it comes to talking about God. We will also look at how poetic language challenges or presents in a new way some classic theological doctrines and insights.
