The course shows how the basic methods of historical research are implemented. It deepens the knowledge of the history of Christianity, theology and confessions. It reflects the diversity of historical periods, individual representatives, intellectual orientations and developments. It studies these phenomena not only based on secondary literature, but also on primary sources with the aim to practise the historical critical method and interpretation. Students take part in discussions about these sources, fulfill smaller assignments and accomplish the course by a larger paper.
