Theological Anthropology in Ecumenical Perspective

Annotation

The objective of the seminar is to gain insight into the roots and expressions of contemporary theological anthropology, to identify common sources as well as differences in interpretation. After a historical inroduction to the theme, it looks at how human preson, creation, fall, restoration, but also social interaction and spiritual life were thematised in different Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox theologians of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Students present introduction to each theologian and then selected texts are read and interpreted. The figures include

Brunner, Moltmann, Soelle, Rahner, Lonergan, Combin, Evdokimov, Clément, Ware and others.
