The main content of this course is to learn about international social work. This may be achieved by various activities and assignments, e.g. partly by the participation in International Days in Social Work organised by the Protestant Theological Faculty in the summer semester 2025 (https://web.etf.cuni.cz/ETFENG-418.html), optionally by participation in international Days organised by our Erasmus partners (only available to Czech students) or through Erasmus stay in social work (only available to Czech students).
The course will be concluded by a student´s report from the International event or in case of regular course programme on a comparative issue - e.g. migration, sustainable development goals or multicultural social work, 3 pages, valid for winter semester 2024 (5400 signs).
In the winter semester 2024 following conditions are valid: active participation in the lessons (scheduled for Thursdays 13-14:30) one presentation of reading, mentioned below one written assignment on selected topic (mentioned below)
The main aim is to broaden up the European and global perspective of social work and to enable the recognition of international cultural experiences during Erasmus exchange study.
