1) Demografické stárnutí, jeho příčiny a d ůsledky, zisky a ztráty, naděje a obavy spojené s dlouhověkostí, úspěšné a neúspěšné stárnutí, sociální a zdravotní problémy vyššího věku
2) Tom Kitwood a maligní sociální psychologie. Péče o křehké seniory, dlouhodobá péče.
3) Přístupy orientované na člověka a jejich uplatnění v sociální práci a pastoraci. G.Prouty - preterapie.
4) E. Erikson, problematika životního cyklu, koncept validace podle Naomi Feilové
5) Další přístupy podporující komunikaci a práci se starými lidmi se specifickými potřebami (s problémy v komunikaci)
6) Využití reminiscence v práci se starými lidmi - nácvik dovedností v práci se vzpomínkami
7) Cvičení v reminicsenci
8) Videotrénink interakcí (VTI) a jeho využití při řešení obtížných situací v komuniaci.

Annotation
The topic of the course is intended for students of theology as well as for students of social work and pastoral care, who want to be prepared for the demographic ageing of population and growin number of older people in our society, in communities and congregations. It will help the participants of the course to understand positive and negative consequences of ageing.
It will specially aim to the problems connected with very old age, connected wit the losses in area of autonomy, health, communication and cognition. Examples of appropriate methods of work, approaches and therapies to support contact, dignity and social inclusion of old person will be brought and also the support of family carers.
