Annotation
Participant observation is one of the primary data gathering techniques in social research, and at the same time one of the hallmarks of sociocultural anthropology; it is, however, also one of the most difficult techniques to be carried out.
This course introduces students to the main principles and procedures of this method, and aims at developing students' abilities and skills necessary for appling this technique in their own research.
