This course is based on the reading of the scientific and academic texts addressing the status of Roma in Czech society. Through selected texts, students are introduced to Roma issues in the Czech Republic in three perspectives: 1. the status of Roma in
Czech society and Roma recognition strategies, 2. Roma culture, 3. Roma issues within a scientific discourse.
