This follow-up to the course "Integration of Immigrant Groups" applies the theoretical framework introduced, and focuses on some issues concerning the current situation of immigrants and immigration groups in the Czech Republic as the host country. The course is particularly concerned with the immigration from Vietnam, the Ukraine, Russia, the Slovak Republic, and
Western
Europe. Special atention is given to the specific features of the adaptation strategies of these groups.
