Annotation
The contemporary complex society is characterized by its heterogeneity, which is linked to the formation and existence of many diverse societal groupings. One of the important concepts that enables social scientists to examine this heterogeneity and collectivities emerged from it is the concept of youth subcultures.
The aim of this course is to introduce students to basic theoretical concepts of subculture studies and provide them with analytical frameworks which enable them to understand these collectivities.
