Annotation
Kurs, který je koncipován primárně pro studenty bakalářského studia FHS UK a bakalářského studia sociologie a sociální antropologie FSV UK, si klade za cíl nastolit tématické rámce, v nichž mohou antropologové a sociologové přistupovat ke studiu historické události holocaustu / šoa. Důraz je kladen na vystižení historických proměn porozumění holocaustu a širších sociálních, politických a vědních kontextů, v nichž se tato porozumění vyskytují. Z tohoto důvodu jsou nedílnou součástí kursu také studijní exkurze. Ty mají studentům posloužit jak jako didaktický zdroj informací k tématu kursu, tak především jako zdroj informací určených k jejich následné kritické analýze.
Kurs ve vybraných přednáškách a seminářích do jisté míry staví na znalostech základních přístupů jmenovaných vědních oborů (na FHS Úvod do sociologie, Úvod do antropologie, metody sociálních věd, na FSV zejména
Současná sociologie a Kvalitativní metodologie), nicméně je šíří svého záběru otevřen i studentům jiných oborů.
