Annotation

The course will cover the geographic area comprising former Czechoslovakia (or the Czech and Slovak

Republics), Hungary and Poland. The course will focus on the relationship between Judeo-Christian tradition and the secular world and the policies of the Communist regimes in the sphere of the culture.
