Czech Language Course for Beginners

Syllabus

The course covers the following themes: o Introduction - giving personal info, verb to be o Directions - asking for and giving directions o Restaurant - ordering food, accusative sg. o Daily routine - verb conjugation o Telling time, days of the week, numbers - modal verbs o Family - natural and grammatical gender o Talking about the past - past tense.

The course will be taught on-line as long as necessary. Registered students will receive a link to the vitrual classroom.

This course is primarily for ERASMUS students.

It targets students that are staying in the Czech Republic for a limited period of time and need to cover the basis of the language in order to communicate in everyday situations. The ultimate aim is to provide the students with basic skills, grammar and vocabulary to deal with the life in the Czech Republic, to give them an idea of the Czech language system as well as Czech culture.
