Annotation

The course, taught in English, focuses on the cultural diversity of medieval Europe. It serves as an introduction to the religious, social and art history during the period from the collapse of the Roman Empire to the Reformation.

A special focus will be placed on the culture in medieval Bohemia. The course will include at least one excursion providing an in-depth insight into surviving medieval heritage.
