This interdisciplinary course integrates the study of the English language and literature encompassing key concepts in history, philosophy, psychology, art, gender studies, and sociology studied at the Faculty of

Humanities. Through a carefully curated selection of films, students will analyze the interplay between language, storytelling, and the human experience with insights into the cultural, historical, psychological, and social contexts of cinematic texts. The course aims to improve reading comprehension, listening comprehension, grammar skills, ability to remember vocabulary, critical thinking, and motivation. Students also need to become active, effective, and critical viewers to meet the requirements of the course.
