Introduction to Philosophical Thought II.

Class at Faculty of Humanities |
YBF0001LI

Annotation

The course is a continuation of the previus semester and further develops the horizon of philosophical thinking as wonder. Kant summed up the task of philosophy in three questions: what can I know? what am I to do? what can I hope for? From the topics of being-here, cognition and speech we shall go on examining some important areas of contemporary life and practice.

Questions of nature and technology, of the society and its institutions, of law, values and ethics shall lead to a basic orientation in history. Finally, some questions and demands posed to every human by the contemporary world shall be mentioned.
