Annotation

3-term course.

Lectures present the essential issues and concepts of phenomenological philosophy, especially those of Husserl, Heidegger /working with the interpretations of Jan Patocka during the 60s and 70s of the last century mainly/ and Lévinas. Lectures encourage interactive forms of communication. Each lecture is followed by a set of questions that students aswer on-line. Moreover the on-line system enables on-line discussion and distribution of the presented answers for assessment. The important part of the lectures is students' involvement in writing and design of the nontraditional textbook that is based on Lyotard's work, Phenomenology.
