Slow Toning

Class at Faculty of Humanities |
YBK035

Annotation

The course takes place in the form of practical excersises. Slow Toning is a lesson of compensatory character (BODY and MIND excersises) which combines bodyweight training, stretching and loosening.

The excersise is easy to coordinate. The course is suitable even for those who have small experience with aerobics.

It is held in slower pace in an effort to keep knowing and control over all exercises: the emphasis is put on correct techniques and on the activation of adequate muscle groups and particularly of a deep stabilizing system. The aim is a gradual removal muscular dysbalance and a correction of incorrect locomotion stereotypes.

The bodyweight training is the most important part of the lesson; bodyweight exercises are combined with stretching then. Standing exercises take about 60-70 per cent of the lesson and mat exercises the rest.
