Annotation

The course presents key elements of the heterodox/feminist approach to economics. It explains why there is a gender bias in mainstream economics and what we could do about it.

How a gender perspective could be introduced into policies and budgets ? What is the relationship between equality and economic growth? What do we mean by gender-sensitive polices? Gender aspects of globalization, EU policies and economic crisis will be also discussed. The course will include lectures as well as workshops and seminars.
