Anotace
Tradiční sociologie vycházela z takzvaného metodologického nacionalismu, kdy nereflektovaně ztotožňovala společnost s národním státem. Cílem kursu je překročit toto úzké pojetí a představit studentům historickou sociologii politiky v globálním kontextu.
Metodologicky vychází z teorie mezinárodních vztahů a zejména z historicko-sociologických přístupů v teorii mezinárodních vztahů.
