Anotace
Cílem předmětu je přiblížit problém genocidy v dějinách lidstva, která je definována jako forma jednostranného masového zabíjení, při kterém stát nebo jiná autorita hodlá zničit skupinu, přičemž členství ve skupině je definováno pachatelem. V kurzu budou diskutovány různé přístupy genocidy, ilustrovány budou typy genocidy založené na motivech pachatelů. Z hlediska historické perspektivy je kurz zaměřen na genocidu moderní éry.
