Anotace

How to communicate a world that doesn’t exist yet? How to sensitize the consciousness of those who don’t believe yet in the necessity or in the emergency of a new era, how to shake and develop a public awareness, when a radical change is felt as both needed and revolutionary? Like in advertisements, persuasion is a constitutive part of the communication of protest, but it also part of the development of a philosophy of human kind’s evolution, which seems to emerge in parallel with the twentieth century’s topic concerning the risk of a global catastrophe.

How to represent and to figure out what nobody can have experienced yet and goes beyond the models already given by a society in which we don’t believe anymore?

Dealt as a seminary and based on the interaction with students, this course intends to analyze the strategies of visual and verbal communication used to promote utopias, rebellion or revolutionary visions of the future of humanity in the age of society of media.
