Anotace
Kurz je určen studentům druhého a vyššího ročníku magisterského studia Obecné antropologie a Antropologických studií.
Kurz se zaměřuje na výklad konceptů, jejichž prostřednictvím můžeme porozumět jednomu z nejzávažnějších problémů současného světa - klimatické změně. Ta je v kurzu pojímána jako přírodní a současně antropogenní proces (srov. IPCC 2014), inherentně spojený s požadavkem na trvalý ekonomický růst (Eriksen 2016). Analýzy klimatické změny a s ní spojených proměn sociálního i přírodního světa jsou v kurzu ukotveny ve výkladu modernistické ideje pokroku, koloniálních a neokoloniálních praxí a globalizace. Akcentována je propojenost globálních a lokálních procesů, zvláštní pozornost je věnována tématu klimatické spravedlnosti a indigenních odpovědí na klimatickou změnu. Kurz představí také pojem antropocénu a jeho kritiku. Závěr je věnován teoriím, které nově formulují vztah lidského a mimo-lidského a nabízejí alternativu růstovému myšlení.
