Student having completed a bachelor’s degree course in Demography with Sociology is able to analyze population trends both in the Czech Republic and worldwide, discuss crucial issues of demography at supranational, national, regional and local levels and evaluate them within a wider historical context as well as in the context of specific territorial units further sustainable development. The study of sociology focuses on the ability of the student to gather and evaluate empirical data from sociological surveys and on knowledge of key sociological concepts and theories and their application in the examination of social reality.

Having successfully completed all course requirements, the undergraduate is ready to pursue further studying for a master’s degree or to professionally apply their acquired knowledge and skills.
