Graduates of the Master’s Programme in demography may further pursue subject-related studies aiming towards a doctoral degree. Graduates are skilled in demographic analysis methods and population prognosis, are qualified to assess the overall demographic situation and trends in regional demographic development, are capable of preparing demographic development models and are able to propose population policy strategies.
Potential workplaces of interest to graduates include scientific research institutes addressing a wide range of human and human population studies, the state sector as experts at all levels of government from local authorities to the national level (state authorities, government ministries etc.), and the private sector, including opinion poll firms, marketing and human resource departments of large corporations.
