Graduates have competence in German equivalent to the C1 level of the CEFR and a grounding in life and institutions, literature, culture and history of German-speaking countries. They can pursue careers in companies trading with German-speaking countries, cultural institutions, state administration, the media, the diplomatic service and tourism.
Graduates received training in two of the following disciplines depending on their choice: linguistics, literary studies or history. They are specialists in the Slovak language, literature or history, and have a grounding in Slovak geography, culture and society. Graduates have Slovak language skills at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
