Graduates have a basic command of Danish / Norwegian / Swedish equivalent to the B2 level of the CEFR and a grounding in Scandinavian life and institutions, literature, culture and history. They can pursue careers in companies trading with Scandinavia, cultural institutions, state administration, the media, the diplomatic service and in tourism.
The graduates are equipped with language and communication skills in Czech and the Czech Sign Language and with broad philological knowledge and skills pertinent to Deaf Studies. They are prepared to work in contact professions bridging boundaries between the hearing majority and the deaf minority or pursues a subsequent master’s degree.
