Graduates are proficient in the historical method and able to work critically and creatively with research sources and literature; furthermore, they are able to apply more complex methodological processes under the tutelage of an instructor. They have a grounding in basic political, cultural and economic milestones of European development from the Middle Ages to the present day, have a comprehensive command of the expert discourse and the ability to critically develop it further.
Graduates have a solid grounding in the partial problems related to modern research, knowledge of current European issues and the ability to explain their historical causes and contexts.
