The graduate of the bachelor program Information and Library Studies understands the foundation of the creation, processing, accessibility, transformation, distribution and reception of information in the society. He/she applies the acquired knowledge of information science in the fields of security and effective setting up of social, information and communication processes in government, public and private sectors, in memory institutions or information services, e.g. he/she is able to process, organize and make available the organized collections of information sources; he/she applies classification, indexing and cataloging standards in practice; he/she applies the knowledge of communication with the user of information services; he/she is able to search and evaluate information and quality of information resources.
