The graduate has both oral and written competence in Portuguese (level C1) and has good knowledge of the foundations of Portuguese Linguistics, Literary Theory, History of Portugal and Brazil as well as of History of Portuguese and Brazilian Literature. He is acknowledged in the European philological thought, Euro-American Culture and Geography, Culture and History of Lusophony.

He/she is prepared to enter an M.A. programme, especially Luso-Brazilian and Ibero-American Studies.
