The graduate is highly proficient in English at C2 level of the CEFR and has detailed knowledge of contemporary literary and cultural theories and of the Anglophone world. They can work as a literary translator, a publisher’s editor, in the media, diplomacy, etc., and are qualified to enrol in prestigious PhD programmes.

Graduates meet the requirements of international standards (English at EFRL level C2). They have a command of genre conventions in translation into Czech and into English, can use translation software and are able to defend their translation solutions. Graduates are able to adapt to requirements of practical careers or to study for a higher degree.
