Graduates of the MA programme are qualified for professional work in the field and have the ability to continuously follow changes in the field. Their comprehensive grounding in literary studies enables them to pursue activities related to any aspect of literature – from literary history to theory to criticism – and also to culture in a broader sense.
They are also capable of clear and precise communication in Czech and have a deeper understanding of the historical development of Czech and of the factors influencing successful and functional communication. Besides these abilities, they can also relate their knowledge of the historical development of Czech to the context of other Slavonic languages.
